Another fun and exciting day in my life. Today we are going to Barry's Grandmother's 90th birthday party. It is out at Barry's mom's house so there will be plenty of room for all the relatives to gather. Barry and I made picture "memory boards" for our contribution to the decorations. We took tons of her pictures and organized them in floating frames. A floating frame is a piece of glass with a backing that has no wood/metal frame around the glass. We took and wrapped the back in black wrapping paper and placed the pictures on that, then put the glass on top to protect the pictures. They look nice! We ended up doing 6 of them I think. We used pictures of her as a baby, growing up, her wedding, her kids growing up, and grand kids. It was a huge project to sort through the hundreds of pictures to choose just the right ones to place in the collage. Barry is out at his mom's house helping decorate for the party.
